Jeremy Allen is a Gadigal Land / Sydney and Kaurna Land / Adelaide based designer and graduate of the NIDA Design course and Bachelor of Architectural Studies at the University of South Australia. His most recent work includes the design of the set and costumes for Purpose (dir. Zindzi Okenyo), The Shiralee (dir. Jessica Arthur), Circle Mirror Transformation (dir. Dean Bryant), Sweat (dir. Zindzi Okenyo), and Fences (dir. Shari Sebbens) for Sydney Theatre Company, the set for Sydney Theatre Company and Michael Cassel Group’s production of Dear Evan Hansen (dir. Dean Bryant), Sydney Theatre Company and STCSA’s production of Edward Albee’s The Goat Or, Who Is Sylvia (dir. Mitchell Butel), set and costumes for Queensland Theatre Company’s Malacanang Made Us (dir. Kenneth Moraleda) and Torch the Place (dir. Ngoc Phan), State Theatre Company of South Australia’s The Normal Heart (dir. Dean Bryant), Sydney Theatre Company and National Theatre of Parramatta's White Pearl (dir. Priscilla Jackman), Orange Thrower (dir. Zindzi Okenyo), Cleansed (dir. Dino Dimitriadis), John (dir. Craig Baldwin), Small Mouth Sounds (dir. Jo Turner), the set design for Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes at the Old Fitz (dir. Dino Dimitriadis), Orontea (dir Constantine Costi) and The Loves of Apollo and Dafne (dir. Mitchell Butel) for Pinchgut Opera, and If We Got Some More Cocaine I Could Show You How I Love You (dir. Warwick Doddrell) at the Kings Cross Theatre, set and costume design for the new Australian work Flight Paths, (dir. Anthea Williams) and Savages by Patricia Cornelius (dir. Tim Roseman) with the Darlinghurst Theatre Company. Jeremy has also designed for the 2018 Sydney Theatre Award winning Stupid Fucking Bird (dir. Warwick Doddrell), as well as 4:48 Psychosis (dir.
